Li Zhen, male, Han nationality, is the deputy dean of the School of Electronic Engineering, professor, young professor, Ph.D. and master tutor. He is also a member of the Youth Working Committee of China Agricultural Machinery Society. He is mainly engaged in the research of orchard informatization, agricultural information acquisition and application technology, with 23 invention patents granted. He has published 19 papers which are included in SCI, EI and 1 book. He has won 5 prizes, including the First Prize of Agricultural Technology Promotion of Guangdong Province and the Second Prize of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province. He was selected as a candidate for the Guangdong Excellent Young Teacher Training Program and the Thousand Hundred Ten Talents Training Project for Guangdong Universities and was awarded as Guangzhou Zhujiang Rising Star of Science and Technology.
Research directions: intelligent transport equipment for mountain orchards, mainly on the executive mechanism, control system and intelligent program design of this type of equipment; research and equipment design of orchard pest and disease detection methods based on spectral technology and optical analysis; research and equipment design of orchard pest and disease detection methods based on computer image technology and wireless multimedia Internet of things.
